MEDGAUS DENTAL GROUP

Dr. Medgaus was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He attended Peabody High School and later went to the University of Pittsburgh, where he obtained an undergraduate degree in History in 1969 and later his Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry from Pitt Dental School in 1973. 

Dr. Medgaus spent the last forty years dedicating his time to furthering his education and has taken several implantology courses all over the country.  He taught at the Dental School at Diagnostics and Treatment Planning for six years and was the Director of the General Practice Residency Program at Montefiore Hospital for eight years. He’s been able to work and teach with Dr. Pat Allen, Dr. Carl Misch of the Misch Institute, and Dr. Michael Pikos of the Pikos Institute.

Dentistry is quickly evolving and Dr. Medgaus has remained ahead of the curve to pioneer a better dental experience for his patients. In fact, he’s the innovator of Stabili-Teeth™ which has given patients a long term solution to implant supported teeth at an affordable price. He consistently strives for perfection and cares about the work he and his team provide. 

Outside of Dentistry, Dr. Medgaus enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing his guitar, and cooking many delicious meals (be sure to ask him for a recipe!) He has a few rules in life which are to learn something new every day and of course, have fun!
