With ongoing concerns and uncertainty about the Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak, we want to reassure you that the health, safety, and well being of our patients and your family are very important to us. We are closely monitoring developments of the outbreak and are taking precautionary measures — consistent with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines – to help support the ongoing health and safety of our employees and patients. Knowing that missing teeth is a diabilitaing condition, we have forged a way to still have consultative visits that provide our patients with a protected environment allowing for on-going appointments. If you are suffering, we are here for you.
Dr. Kershaw was born and raised in Alberta, Canada, and completed her undergraduate education here. She received her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Alberta, graduating with honors in 2011. She went on to practice as a hospital pharmacist in Canada for several years. Art has been a lifelong passion for Dr. Kershaw, which ultimately led her to pursue a career in Dentistry.
Dr. Kershaw attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, graduating with honors in 2019. Dr. Kershaw had planned on returning to Canada to practice dentistry with her father, however she was swayed by her now husband to stay in Pittsburgh. (She has no regrets!)
After graduation, Dr. Kershaw had the opportunity to travel to Guatemala on a medical mission trip, providing dental care to the local population in need. Dr. Kershaw is passionate about being a general dentist that aspires to provide her patients with comprehensive care in all areas of dentistry. Likewise, she continually works to expand her skill set by taking continuing education focused on a wide variety of topics.
Outside of the office, Dr. Kershaw and her husband love to be outdoors, snowboard and ski together during winter, and they can be found around Pittsburgh running or biking almost all year round!
